PreNatal Meditation

Sit comfortably on the floor with legs crossed.

Welcome mamas. Welcome babies.

Let us all, inside and outside the womb, close our eyes and take a moment to feel the presence of Life in this room.

Breathe IN softly, slowly, deeply. Breathe OUT, slowly, gently, fully.

Mama, gently place your hands under your belly to support the Life growing inside you, as you prepare to connect yourself to your own inner strength, and to the strength of your growing child.

Breathe. Feel the breath fill your lungs. Feel your lungs expand to their full capacity.

Know that your lungs are designed to host your breath. Every cell in every tissue of your lung, understands its purpose, and wants to serve you and support you in Life.

Breathe. Feel the breath surround your heart. Feel your heart beat steady in your chest.

Know that your heart is designed to pump your blood. Every cell in every tissue of your heart, understands its purpose, and wants to serve you and support you in Life.

Breathe. Guide your breath down to fill your uterus.

Feel your uterus gently but firmly support the Life that grows within it.

Know that your uterus is designed to create and support a developing Life. Every cell in every tissue of your uterus, understands its purpose, and wants to serve you and support you in Creating and Delivering this New Life, into our world.

Breathe, Feel your breath swirl around baby. Picture your breath gently arousing baby, nudging it, to let it know you are here.

Silently, with your heart, speak to baby. Let baby know that you are here; that you are a team; that you are in this experience together.

Breathe. Feel your breath fill your lungs and fill baby’s lungs. Breath Together

Breathe. Feel your breath surround your heart and surround baby’s heart.

Feel your hearts beat together.

In this moment you are connected.

Your breath harmonizes you as one Spirit Being.

In this moment, there is no past, there is no future. Only this moment.

This moment of Calm, Peaceful, Connectedness.

Connectedness to Self. Connectedness to Baby.

Connectedness to your collective inner strength.

Breathe in this moment.

Feel the Strength and Power of connection.

Feel the Strength and Power of your Body as it supports Life inside you.

Breathe in this moment.

Feel the Courage and Determination

 

Breathe in this moment.

Know the Goddess of Creation that you are.

Breathe… Softly, Slowly, Deeply.

Breathe.

 

When you are ready, gently caress baby as you pull your awareness back up to your mind, and bring yourself back to this room.

Slowly open your eyes, and reconnect with your surroundings.

As you reconnect to this time and space, hold on to those feelings of Connectedness, Strength, Power, Courage, and Determination.

Carry them with you every moment of every day.
